MATERIALS & LAB: Woods, Ambers  [Level 2]

This course is designed to give participants the necessary terminology to fully delve into the world of perfumery, from artistry to industry. All fragrances have an origin, a connection, and an emotion derived from experience. You will gather the tools to understand the references, origins, associations, and expressions of individual notes and scent families. Materials will come alive and able to be shared as integral parts of creative references. The class has a capacity of 6-12 students and is up to 3 hours long. This Level 1 class is open to all and is intended for beginner and independent perfumers as well as professionals in the beauty and creative industries.

  • Module 5: Woods, Ambers

Both Level 1 courses are required to participate in these Level 2 modules unless students have already taken equivalent coursework elsewhere. Optional Olfactoriums will be offered by Perfumariē for purchase at $150 to complement each course and can be ordered two weeks before or anytime after the course. They will enable students to continue their olfactory practice.
